The actor left his hometown in Illinois to journey to New York City to pursue an acting career, landing brief stints on RYAN’s HOPE and ANOTHER WORLD before the one that would make him beloved to daytime fans — Jackson Montgomery on AMC.

He played the role of Jackson from 1987 until the soap’s cancelation in 2011, even crossing the character over to sister soap THE CITY in the mid-‘90s.

Willey has also performed stand-up comedy and in numerous theatrical stage productions all over the United States. And with the advent of online soaps, he has appeared in web series THURSTON and TAINTED DREAMS.
