AMC’s Mathison & Penny Tie The Knot!

ALL MY CHILDREN’s Cameron Mathison (Ryan) takes a bride in a new Lifetime movie next weekend — and it’s none other than former co-star Sydney Penny (Julia)! The two star together in the Lifetime film The Wife He Met Online.

Mathison plays Bryant, a single dad who has been having trouble meeting woman since his divorce. But when a neighbor convinces the executive to give on-line dating a try, Bryant doesn’t think it will go anywhere… until the profile of Penny’s Georgia catches his eye. He’s quickly captivated by the beautiful and quirky woman from Los Angeles, and the new couple strikes up a long-distance relationship. Deciding that Georgia is the perfect woman for him, Bryant proposes and moves his new bride across the country. But as they settle into marital bliss, Georgia becomes increasingly more possessive and jealous, and will let no woman get in the way of her happiness… even if it means murder!

“It was so great to work with her again,” Mathison tells Soaps In Depth of reuniting with Penny. ONE LIFE TO LIVE’s Barbara Niven (Liz) and GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Cynthia Preston (ex-Faith) also appear in the movie. The Wife He Met Online premieres on Saturday, April 21, at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
