AMC Stars Team Up!

As the host of Yahoo’s popular Web series ULTIMATE SURPRISES (formerly known as ULTIMATE PROPOSAL), Cameron Mathison (Ryan, ALL MY CHILDREN) gets to help friends and family spring over-the-top surprises on their loved ones. In the newest episode launched this week, Mathison joins forces with his AMC pal J.R. Martinez (Brot) to surprise a wounded Airmen with a new family home.

In January 2009, Senior Airmen Michael Malarsie, 23, was severely wounded in Afghanistan in an explosion that killed four of his friends and left him completely blind. Refusing to let the tragedy keep him down, Malarsie is now part of the Air Force Recovering Airmen Mentorship Program, where he helps wounded soldiers adjust to their new lives. To recognize his resilience, ULTIMATE SURPRISES teamed up with Martinez (himself a retired wounded soldier), Operation Finally Home (for which Martinez is the spokesperson) and Tilson Homes to give Malarsie and his family a mortgage-free home.
