ALL MY CHILDREN’s Finn Wittrock (Damon) and Brittany Allen (Marissa) have teamed together for The Mechanicals Theatre Group’s limited engagement of The Laramie Project, a critically-acclaimed play based on the 1998 hate crime killing of Matthew Shepard, a gay college student in Laramie, WY. Directed by Wittrock’s father, fellow actor Peter Wittrock, 8 performances of the drama will be staged at The Pico Playhouse in Los Angeles, on Thursdays through Sundays, starting tonight, December 2, until Sunday, December 12. Tickets are available at the door for $20, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit The Trevor Project, a non-profit organization which operates an around-the-clock crisis and suicide prevention hotline for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth.
