Can GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Carly & Sonny Survive?

Forget the honeymoon being over for GH’s Carly and Sonny… they haven’t even had time to take one!

In the new issue of Soaps In Depth, Laura Wright (Carly) considers the newlyweds’ odds and says that this time, she thinks these crazy kids just might make it! Since tying the knot at the hospital, CarSon has taken hits from every direction, but Wright is convinced they’re unbreakable.

“It would have to be a life-or-death situation to come between them, because this is solid,” she maintains, “They’re so past the pettiness. They’re doing things differently this time.”

Wright, who just celebrated a decade in Port Charles, is having a blast playing her first real Carly/Sonny love story with Maurice Benard (Sonny). She reveals there’s a renewed camaraderie onset, of late.

“When you play a Sonny or Carly character, you can feel like you’re on your own, depending on how the scene’s written,” she notes. “Recently, with a lot of the work, it’s been feeling like a cast of actors, happy to put on the show together. Every moment I have with this team is a gift.”
