The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has been getting soap fans excited for the 2017 Daytime Emmy Awards by releasing the acting reels submitted by all the nominees so viewers can see the exact same material that the judges are when they make their final decision about who will take home the gold on Emmy night!

NATAS has just posted the amazing reels from Lead Actor nominees Peter Bergman (Jack, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS), Scott Clifton (Liam, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL), Billy Flynn (Chad, DAYS OF OUR LIVES), Vincent Irizarry (Deimos, DAYS), and Kristoff St. John (Neil, Y&R), so take a look and see who you think should win the Emmy!

Peter Bergman (Jack, Y&R)

Discovering his wife’s affair with his brother turned Jack’s life upside down, but gave Bergman plenty of incredible material to pick from for his reel. It starts with the scenes where Jack forced Phyllis to admit to cheating on him and the emotional fallout that followed as Jack angrily tried to process the news. The final scenes on the tape are the scenes where Phyllis begs Jack not to divorce her, and he coldly puts her in her place.

After that are the scenes where Quinn tries to apologize to Liam, but he flies into a rage and nearly chokes her. And it concludes with Liam confronting Bill about his relationship with Brooke, and Bill turns it around to be about Liam and Steffy.
