EXCLUSIVE: GENERAL HOSPITAL Star Michelle Stafford’s New Movie

GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Michelle Stafford (Nina) fires up the screen with Tom Sizemore in the upcoming film Durant’s Never Closes. The indie flick is set to premiere in January, but Soaps In Depth has your first look at Stafford and Sizemore facing off!

While Stafford can also be spotted in the Durant’s Never Closes trailer, this (not safe for work without headphones!) clip offers a first look at the tension between Stafford’s Suzie and Sizemore’s Jack Durant, a notorious restaurateur and ladies man. “He was a mobster and this is the story of his life,” previews Stafford, who plays Durant’s ex-wife. “I come into it in the middle and we’re just talking at the bar about our lives, with flashbacks.”

As you can see in this clip, which is riddled with salty language, these are not flashbacks to happier times! The crime biopic looks at the legend of Durant and takes place over a single day in Durant’s Steakhouse, which remains a Phoenix institution today.

Durant’s Never Closes is set to premiere January 21 at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Phoenix. “I’m excited,” says Stafford. “I shot it back in March, so I’ve seen my stuff in it, but I’m looking forward to sitting there with a bunch of people and watching it, for sure. It’s a great story!”
