GH’s Anthony Montgomery Shares a Sneak Peek at His New Movie, ‘Carole’s Christmas’

Fans of GENERAL HOSPITAL actor Anthony Montgomery were excited when he brought his character of Andre back to Port Charles, but they’ll get to see even more of him in a very special new holiday movie, Carole’s Christmas! The film premieres on Friday, Nov. 22, at 9 p.m. ET on OWN and co-stars Kimberly Elise and Jackée Harry.

In the film, originally titled Back in the Day, Elise plays Carole Jordan, an overworked businesswoman who wishes she had taken another path in life. But you should be careful what you wish for because her life is turned upside down and her new life is even worse! Montgomery plays Marcus Jordan, Elise’s husband… well, in one of the realities, at least! “No spoilers,” he joked in a behind-the-scenes video Elise shared on Instagram that he reposted. The pair show just how intimate a bedroom scene isn’t by panning the camera around to show all the cast and crew watching them.

In a second backstage peek, Elise was joined by Montgomery for a visit to the hair and makeup room where they had a chat with Harry, who was surprised to learn Montgomery was on GH. “I didn’t even know you was on a soap opera!” she exclaimed. “Really? That’s how I started, on ANOTHER WORLD. It’s defunct now. Me, Morgan Freeman, Joe Morton… yes. Back in the day!”

And in a third video, Elise offered a peek at a dance battle in between takes where pint-sized child star Cayden K. Williams challenged Montgomery to a dance-off! Let’s just say that Montgomery has some moves (until he moonwalked back into the front door of the house!).
