The Stars of General Hospital Say Goodbye to Crew Member Dale Carson

The cast and crew of GENERAL HOSPITAL said goodbye to a member of their family on Jan. 31 when longtime cameraman Dale Carson retired after nearly four decades with the soap. In addition to GH, he also worked on spinoffs PORT CHARLES and GENERAL HOSPITAL: NIGHT SHIFT as well as operating cameras for CBS sudser THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL. And in the May 22 episode of GH, the soap payed a little tribute to him when Lucy mentioned Donna and Dale at the end of the Nurses Ball.

Carson’s career behind the camera began in the ‘70s where he worked on series such as WHO’S THE BOSS, FAMILY FEUD, BENSON, THE GOLDEN GIRLS, DIFF’RENT STROKES, and THE FACTS OF LIFE. He also was on the crew for a couple broadcasts of The Academy Awards!
