GENERAL HOSPITAL Star Haley Pullos Fires Back at Some “Absolutely Terrifying” Behavior and We Couldn’t Agree With Her More!
Young GENERAL HOSPITAL star Haley Pullos (Molly) is wise beyond her years, using her social media accounts to express herself on a variety of topics, including women’s issues and sexism. Back in August, the young star responded to some Twitter comments, declaring: “Women and girls can wear as much or as little makeup and clothes as they want! And we can do it without being harassed and sexualized. Leave us alone!”
And now Pullos has taken to Twitter once again to express her opinion on catcalling and asking men to please stop the awful behavior. “Please stop catcalling women,” she posted. “It is not okay and absolutely terrifying.
“What do you expect is gonna happen?” she added. “Screaming ‘Hey sexy!’ and making crude hand signals is gonna make your victim like you? Stop.”

While she didn’t reveal whether these posts were in response to herself being catcalled or perhaps witnessing it happen to a friend or even a stranger on the street, she makes a good point. Female fans responded agreeing with her sentiment while male fans assured her they weren’t that kind of guy. And when one reported that “Ma’am, Ma’am, Ma’am” is “the new nerve wrecking one in New York,” Pullos replied: “So scary.”
When Pullos spoke to Soaps In Depth about her starring role in the Lifetime movie From Straight A’s to XXX, she expressed a similar opinion. “It’s about a woman who couldn’t pay her tuition, so she decides to go into a legal field of work — and gets terrorized,” she declared. “I’m so pro-women and so pro-being able to make your own choices.”
And if Pullos’ tweets can make just one man realize how his lecherous behavior is being perceived by the women he’s catcalling and make his change his ways, it will all be worth it. You go, girl!
