GH's Kirsten Storms and Brandon Barash Celebrate Harper's Birthday

Please join us in wishing Harper Barash a very happy birthday! The pint-sized GENERAL HOSPITAL alum turned five on Jan. 7! That’s right, not only are her parents GH stars — Kirsten Storms (Maxie) and Brandon Barash (ex-Johnny) — but Harper herself appeared on the soap for a while as Maxie’s daughter, Georgie! “Not sure how this courageous, compassionate, free-thinking, problem solving, radiant being is already five, but she is,” Barash marveled. “I’ve said it before… she makes me a better man. Before she could talk, she began teaching me a clinic on life, and it hasn’t stopped. School’s always in session.”

The actor also shared an absolutely precious video with his little girl where he asks her how it’s possible she’s already turning five, then asks her what her birthday wish is before singing “Happy Birthday” to her. Naturally, Harper can’t resist joining in!

Storms also couldn’t wrap her head around the idea that her daughter had gotten so old. “I can’t believe my baby is five years old today,” she posted along with a pic of Harper playing with her Hatchimal City toys.

The pair have continued to co-parent Harper even after their divorce, because as Storms has told us, it’s what’s best for their child. And they took Harper out for a birthday dinner where Storms shared another photo from the evening where she caught her ex trying to be a good dad by helping Harper with one of her toys. “Brandon trying to dress an LOL Surprise Doll at Benihana makes me LOL,” she teased.
