Michael Easton Previews Finn's Reaction to Hayden's Baby on GH

Viewers of GENERAL HOSPITAL are eager to see Finn get into it with Hayden over their baby — a baby he still doesn’t know exists! And Michael Easton, who plays the doc, is right there with them! “I’m sure the writers have a great plan and there’s good stuff to come… but for selfish reasons, I wish Hayden had come back and just turned Finn’s life upside-down,” the actor admitted to Soaps In Depth. “I wanted to see his world upended by this woman he loved who broke his heart and came back with his child. It would have been interesting!”

Instead, we’ve seen an awkward tenderness between the exes… even as Hayden seems to have reverted to her old scheming ways and is keeping a huge secret from Finn. And if that little girl she’s hiding ends up being his daughter, as we suspect? “It takes on a different impact for the character now,” Easton noted, but it’s still going to be juicy drama. “In all this craziness of the memory storyline, playing a relationship with your child? I would love that — and I would love to see how Finn would react to that. Would it make him withdraw, or would he embrace it?

“I’m sure he would be like, ‘What did I ever do to you to make you do that to me?’” he continued. “And I don’t think Hayden has a good reason… but it would sure be interesting to have that conversation” with her.

With Finn’s lady love, Anna, having been off the canvas all summer, some viewers have theorized that the scribes are biding their time, waiting for her to return before blowing up his life. “That would be a great dynamic for Finn and, to an extent, Anna to play,” Easton remarked, adding, “Tested love is kind of what daytime is about!”
