Every time a holiday rolls around, TV schedules are screwed up and fans worry about missing an episode of GENERAL HOSPITAL. Well, that’s what we’re here for — to make sure that doesn’t happen. So here’s what you can expect for New Year's!
On Monday, Jan. 1, GH will be preempted completely so don't worry, you're not missing anything. ABC isn’t even airing an old rerun of a classic episode for you to enjoy. But make sure you’re rested and ready to come back on Tuesday, Jan. 2, to find out what happens next after Jason and Sam's kiss, whether Nelle’s baby is really Michael's, the mystery of Nathan's father, and all the other drama going on in Port Charles!

Elsewhere on the dial, Y&R and B&B fans should take note that both CBS soaps will be preempted on Friday, Dec. 29, because of NCAA basketball. Then, on Monday, Jan. 1, DAYS will be preempted while B&B and Y&R air repeats. Y&R will air the July 13 episode featuring Nikki’s gala piano concert and all the drama surrounding it, and B&B will air this year’s March 23 episode with Steffy and Liam’s wedding reception where Brooke and Eric reminisced about their lives on the beach as the sun set.
We hope all of you enjoy the holiday season with both your real-life families and your daytime TV families, and wish you all the best in the coming new year. And don’t forget — for all the news about your favorite daytime dramas, keep reading Soaps In Depth magazine!
