GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Patricia Bethune Is a Nurse on GREY’S ANATOMY
Looks like Nurse Mary Pat has a new job at another hospital! While the character was killed off of GENERAL HOSPITAL on Halloween, actress Patricia Bethune has just announced that she is guest starring in the episode of GREY’S ANATOMY airing on Thursday, Nov. 8! “Sitting blissfully on set,” she reported on Instagram. “Grateful to bring to life a piece of the beautiful story this week written by the glorious Elisabeth R. Finch and directed by multi-talented Krista Vernoff.”
In the episode, titled “Anybody Have a Map?,” Catherine Fox (played by guest star Debbie Allen) is in Los Angeles getting the new foundation and summons Meredith and Koracick to visit for a highly confidential consult. Meanwhile, one of the nurses is 28 weeks pregnant and collapses at the hospital while talking to Richard. Bethune previously played Nurse Ginger in a handful of GREY’S episodes from 2005-07. Hopefully, she’s got a better bedside manner than Mary Pat and can keep from losing her head!
