GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Robert Palmer Watkins and Hayley Erin Share the Screen in a New Movie!
Fans of Dillon and Kiki on GENERAL HOSPITAL will get a chance to see portrayers Robert Palmer Watkins and Hayley Erin on screen together in entirely new roles in a new film! Watkins shared a screenshot from the shoot on his Instagram. “New project,” he declared. “Look who I happen to be working with!” The hashtag would seem to indicate that the name of the film is Broken Strings, and it’s from writer/director Robert Adamson (Noah, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS)!
Back in 2014, Adamson shared a trailer for Broken Strings starring PRETTY LITTLE LIARS’ Brant Daugherty, who also had a role as Brian on DAYS OF OUR LIVES. It’s described as a “Neo Noir short film that juxtaposes the ideals of friendship in the competitive field of entertainment with the real-life hardships as an undercover agent.” Further information about the project is scarce, although last year, Hollywood HIccups reported that the cast also includes Adamson’s ex, Linsey Godfrey (Caroline) and her THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL co-stars Kim Matula (ex-Hope) and Darin Brooks (Wyatt).
Since Watkins has been dropped to recurring status on GH, his screen time has dwindled, so his fans will be happy to see him on screen again, especially if it re-teams him with Erin, with whom he has terrific chemistry. Although the actor also shared another photo from Broken Strings a few days earlier where it doesn’t look like his character is going to have an easy time of it! “This acting thing is getting rough on the body,” Watkins joked. “Another bloody role this week.”
Although details on Broken Strings aren’t yet available, with all of the soap stars involved in its production both in front of and behind the camera, we’ll definitely keep you up to date as more information is released so you can make sure to check it out for yourself!
