General Hospital Spoilers — Tony and Jason Fight Over Carly's Baby

It’s a blast from the past in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers! On Dec. 31, 2018, the soap is running a classic New Year’s Eve episode that originally aired on Dec. 31, 1997. If you were watching back then, you’ll be seeing a lot of familiar faces. And if you weren’t, you can get a glimpse at what life was like in Port Charles over two decades ago when Michael had just been born!

After being shot outside of Luke’s club by gunmen who had been aiming for Jason, Nikolas has finally recovered enough to come home from the hospital. Sarah is delighted to see him as Stefan walks his son into the house. “Welcome home,” says Katherine with a slightly uncomfortable shrug.

Jax looks up from his laptop to try and propose some plans. “I was just thinking about what would be kind of fun to do tonight,” he suggests. Brenda, still recovering from the psychotic break she suffered at the Christmas photo shoot, looks weary as she asks: “Tonight?” Jax points out what is so special about tonight, reminding her that it’s New Year’s Eve. How will they ring in 1998?

At the hospital, Carly has just given birth to her son, and is claiming that the baby is Jason’s. But Tony isn’t backing down and continues to insist that he’s going to prove that’s his son and pursue custody. “You are way over your head,” the doctor insists to Jason. But having agreed to claim Carly’s son as his sown, Jason firmly stands his ground. “Nothing is gonna be done to that boy unless I say so!” he declares. How ugly will this get?
