Tajh Bellow Cast as the New TJ on GENERAL HOSPITAL
Jordan’s son is going to look a little different when Tajh Bellow takes over the role of TJ Ashford on GENERAL HOSPITAL! The young actor is scheduled to make his first appearance on Nov. 20, which is just in time for Jordan’s upcoming wedding to Curtis!
Bellow is actually the third actor to play TJ. When the character was introduced in 2012, he was portrayed by Krys Meyer, but later in the year the role was recast with Tequan Richmond. Unfortunately, while Richmond has made sporadic recurring appearances in recent years, he’s also been working a lot outside of daytime, and recently landed the starring role in the new BET series BOOMERANG, based on the Eddie Murphy film. GH will mark Bellow’s daytime debut, but he has made plenty of appearances in primetime series like THE MIDDLE, GIRL MEETS WORLD, K.C. UNDERCOVER, and BOSCH.
TJ and his mother didn’t have the best relationship after she revealed that Shawn Butler was actually his real father, but over time they’ve grown closer again and he even approved of her decision to become Curtis’ wife. And in the recent preview for upcoming episodes, you can get your first glimpse of Bellow as TJ walking his mom down the aisle.
