Who Are the Mothers of Sonny’s Children on GENERAL HOSPITAL?
In the interest of clearing up the tangled branches of some of daytime’s most complicated family trees, we thought we’d tackle the Corinthos clan and run down who are the mothers of all of Sonny Corinthos‘ kids on GENERAL HOSPITAL! With Sonny expecting his second child with wife Carly, it seemed like the perfect time to clear up any confusion about the origins of his other offspring!
Who is Dante’s mother?
Dante’s mom is Olivia Falconeri (now Quartermaine), although Sonny didn’t know that until after he’d shot “Dominic Perelli” for being an undercover cop that tried to arrest him! To be fair, though, Dante was in the dark about his father’s identity as well. It wasn’t until Olivia came clean that everyone was finally introduced. It took a while, but the mob boss ultimately accepted the police detective as his son.
Who is Kristina’s mother?
When Alexis Davis got pregnant after a one-night stand with Sonny, she tried to pass the child off as belonging to her fiancé, Ned Ashton. He agreed to the lie to protect the baby from Sonny’s dangerous lifestyle. However, when the infant Kristina required a stem cell transplant, DNA tests revealed that Sonny was her father.
Who is Morgan’s mother?
There was no confusion as to Morgan’s parentage because Sonny and Carly were actively trying to have a baby together, but there was plenty of drama! After being kidnapped twice while pregnant, Carly fell down the stairs, went into labor, then got accidentally shot in the head by her husband! Sadly, Morgan’s life came to a tragic end when he was killed in a car bombing.
Who is Avery’s mother?
Ava Jerome got pregnant with Sonny’s daughter after a quickie in the Quartermaine crypts. Unfortunately, she was in a relationship with Morgan at the time so when Avery was born, it wasn’t immediately clear whether father or son was the babydaddy. Either way, that baby kept Sonny from taking murderous revenge on Ava!
Who is Donna’s Mother?
Thankfully, the parentage of baby Donna was never in doubt, but Carly and Sonny were concerned when their unborn child was diagnosed with spina bifida. Thankfully, surgery conducted shortly after Donna’s birth seems to have left the little girl healthy… which is good, because a Corinthos child needs to be strong enough to withstand the family drama! (The soap chose the name Donna to pay tribute to a beloved crew member.)
Who is Michael’s mother?
We’re including Michael on this list because while he’s technically A.J. Quartermaine’s son with Carly, Sonny bullied A.J. into giving up his parental rights so he could adopt the boy himself. Michael hasn’t always approved of Sonny’s particular lifestyle, and for a period of time even insisted on going by the last name Quartermaine.
Anyone else?
Sonny has a grandson, Rocco Falconeri, via Dante and Lulu, as well as another via Michael and Nelle, but he currently isn’t aware that Wiley is really Jonah. Spencer Cassadine is his nephew through his sister, Courtney Matthews, and Molly Lansing is his niece via his brother, Ric Lansing. And being a soap opera, you never know when another long-lost kid might come out of the woodwork!
