GENERAL HOSPITAL’s William deVry Wants To Help Rescue Animals

Tags:

GENERAL HOSPITAL’s William deVry wants you to join him to support a cause that is very close to his heart!

The animal lover is appearing on Saturday, March 12, at Point Vecchio in Brooklyn, NY, for a special event hosted by Nicole Napolitano and Teresa Aprea of THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NEW JERSEY to benefit Hope For Paws.

“If I see a dog on the side of the road, I stop and get them,” deVry confides. “I raise money for foundations and charities and rescue groups.”

While he also admits that he likes to change up the organizations he supports, this one is of particular importance to him. “I like to switch it around,” deVry says, “but Hope For Paws does great work. They film everything so they can document the rescues. You pretty much see every rescue they do.”

Tickets are $200 and include a delicious Italian dinner and an open bar with plenty of photo and autograph opportunities with deVry, Napolitano and Aprea as well as lots of fun! If you’re interested in helping the actor support one of his “pet” charities, you can click here for more information.

Check out this video of an actual animal rescue from Hope For Paws, and the gallery of photos of deVry with some rescue dogs, girlfriend Rebecca Staab (Elizabeth, PORT CHARLES), GH executive producer Frank Valentini and Lisa Arturo from Hope For Paws. And for more from deVry about his love for rescue animals, don’t miss his interview in the ABC issue of Soaps In Depth on sale Monday, January 18.
