Happy Birthday to GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Brytni Sarpy — See Her Fun Selfies With Her Co-Stars!
Best wishes to GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Brytni Sarpy (Valerie), who is celebrating her birthday today! The actress took to Instagram on her big day to share a series of photos that show her growing up over the years and to share a heartfelt message to her family, friends, and fans. “It’s been a wild ride,” she declared. “Reflecting on my journey and remembering my evolution reminds me of how abundant my life has been. From the people, to the moments, and everything in between. Thank you all for loving me so good. I love you right back.”
A trained dancer, Sarpy is also a model, and debuted as Valerie Spencer on GH in March of 2015. Although Valerie causing trouble for popular couple Dante and Lulu made viewers slow to warm up to her portrayer, that changed over time, and the actress has earned a legion of devoted fans who have championed her as she became a police officer and searched for love in Port Charles. Unfortunately, in January of 2017, Sarpy announced to her fans that she was no longer on contract with the soap but would still be recurring. “I was graciously allotted the opportunity to pursue other acting endeavors,” she shared on Twitter, “but will still be popping into Port Chuck every now and again.”
Outside of daytime, Sarpy has made appearances on the Lifetime series MY CRAZY EX and the FOX sitcom NEW GIRL. And the horror movie she recently filmed, Truth or Dare, is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, Oct. 8, on SyFy!
