GH Recap: Luke Faces Off With Fluke!

Anna’s former protégée and current agent at the justice department, Kyle Sloane, was gung ho about prosecuting her for Faison’s murder, and Obrecht was eager to help. There was, however, a crimp in their plan. “Faison is alive and I can prove it,” the commish said. Although O wanted desperately to believe it, she couldn’t and wouldn’t get her hopes up, only for them to be dashed.

Anna told them the whole story, how she and Robert confronted Faison the night of Nikolas’ engagement party. Aching to put an end to Faison’s reign of terror, Anna was prepared to kill him. “I wanted to put my hands around his throat and squeeze,” she said, adding, “I was this close… but I didn’t do it.” Anna would prove that she was telling the truth by taking Sloane and Obrecht to the place where she and Robert had held Faison captive all this time — in a cell on Spoon Island that could be accessed through the Wyndemere stables. When they got there, Anna lifted a mat off the floor and revealed a trap door. When they opened the entrance to the underground dungeon, it was empty!

While Lulu distracted Larry at the Quartermaine mansion, Patrick and Sam posed as husband and wife to get into Larry’s safe deposit box at the bank. With a lock pick and a duplicate key, she opened the box, only to find another locked box inside! Their investigation was cut short when Larry showed up to get into the same container. When he opened the inner box, he smiled, as if his mission had been accomplished. After he left, Patrick and Sam went back in to finish their task. She opened the inner box and couldn’t believe her eyes. Inside was a photo of, you guessed it, Cesar Faison!

Alexis’ arrival to see Julian in a PCPD cell put a smile on his face. She, however, was as cold as ice. Her only reason for being there was because Lucas made a good case to do so. Julian confessed his undying love and said, “I’m ready to name names.” He went on to say that he worked for Luke, but also that Luke was not really Luke!

In a padded room at Miscavige, a straightjacket Luke laid dozing on a cot. An orderly came in and popped a pill in his mouth. After the orderly left, Luke spit it out and sat up. He flashed back to his encounter with Fluke calling him helpless. Completely lucid, Luke said out loud to himself, “Not anymore.” This was the day he was determined to break out of this joint and find the snake that put him there! Thinking of Fluke’s assertion that he bedded Tracy, Luke went crazy, tugging and pulling at the jacket. Then, like King Kong breaking free from the chains that bound him, with one last guttural scream, the jacket flew off! Using the buckle from the jacket as a lock pick, Luke opened the door, only to find an angry Fluke staring back at him!

On Monday’s GH, Anna is puzzled by Faison’s disappearance, Jordan is confronted by a familiar face, and Julian has even more shocking news for Alexis! Don’t forget: 3:00 ET and 2:00 PST/CT on ABC. Be there!
