Hall Finds “Love” This Weekend!

Tags:

Even before filming wrapped on ALL MY CHILDREN, Natalie Hall (Colby) was already hard at work filming the Hallmark Channel Original Movie Love’s Christmas Journey… and you can catch the film this weekend!

The latest installment in Hallmark’s films based on Janette Oke’s book series Love Comes Softly, Love’s Christmas Journey finds Hall playing widow Ellie, who is still mourning the deaths of both her husband and daughter when she visits her brother Aaron — played by GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Greg Vaughan (ex-Lucky) — and his children for Christmas. “I met with my acting coach, and we talked about my life and how I can relate to this character,” Hall tells Soaps In Depth about preparing to play the mother of a 6-year-old. “I created my own daughter. My acting teacher gave me a little trick: I have this locket which I would give to my own daughter at some point, so that helped because I always had some sort of sense that I have a child because the locket symbolizes the child I will have one day.”

Making its world premiere on Saturday, November 5, at 8 p.m. EST, Love’s Christmas Journey not only stars Hall, but fellow soap vets Vaughan, Danielle Parker (Emma, AMC), Charles Shaughnessy (Shane, DAYS OF OUR LIVES) and Dylan Bruce (Chris, AS THE WORLD TURNS) alongside Academy Award nominees JoBeth Williams (Brandy, GUIDING LIGHT), Sean Astin and Ernest Borgnine in the four-hour movie event.
