Shari Belafonte Joins GENERAL HOSPITAL!

GENERAL HOSPITAL tells Soaps In Depth that the role of Mayor Lomax is being recast with Shari Belafonte!

The actress, who has appeared in many TV series but is best known for primetime sudser HOTEL, will be replacing Saidah Arrika Ekulona, who has been playing Port Charles’ mayor on and off since 2012.

Belafonte first reported to the GH set on December 10, and will make her first appearance on the soap in the episode scheduled to air Tuesday, January 19. Sources tell Soaps In Depth that she will recur as necessary as the storyline dictates. And with the truth about Paul’s nefarious schemes ready to explode, look for Lomax to be right in the middle of it all!
