SKate “Connect” And Caleb Confronts Sam!

If the Haunted Star party wasn’t your final destination, Valentine’s Day pretty much sucked for the romantics of Port Charles. Carly spent it with her three-year-old daughter, Anna and Diane fighting and defending crime respectively, Molly getting broken up with and Sam retreating from a serial killer who thought he was a vampire. Point taken, yes?

After a tete-e-tete with Diane about her options for avoiding prison (or the Funny Farm), Connie connected with Sonny. And by “connected” we mean “smiling eyes locked on each other while giggling about the past.” Yes, Connie giggled. Flirting, you ask? Uh huh. The thing is, she recalled things like baking him god-awful cookies when they were teenagers. Wait, when they were teenagers? If Connie is the alter, how could she remember that? Gasp! Here’s a theory for ya — maybe those extreme personalities (sophisticated Kate and cranky Connie) are both alters while that personality in between is the host. Just a theory, folks. Just a theory.

Todd, meanwhile, spent Valentine’s Day in handcuffs. No, not in a kinky way. Under arrest for trying to kidnap Sam’s baby, Danny. In reality, it was Caleb that was trying to steal Danny and it was Todd who came to the rescue, unaware that he wasn’t standing up to his Llanview foe, but rather a guy who randomly likes to kill people. In other words, a guy that Todd could have a beer with. But really, this one time that Todd actually did the right thing he STILL got busted… and little Danny (along with mama Sam) are in more danger than ever. It didn’t help one iota when Sam looked at Caleb and said, “I know who you really are… CALEB!” That’s probably not going to end well.

Then there was Kristina. Nothing says hearts, flowers and cupid shooting little arrows into the love challenged like spending Valentine’s Day in a federal prison. Lucky for her that on her first day doing community service she miraculously got tossed into a room with Johnny Z, who was on “day two of 7,304” of his sentence. That’s 20 years and, thanks, by the way, Johnny, for that quickie math lesson. Forget organized crime. He’s got a future in accounting.

So, this week, GENERAL HOSPITAL is a smorgasbord of goodies. Kate emerges, A.J. tries to make Tracy an offer he hopes she can’t refuse, someone breaks out of jail and Lulu receives a gift that has a rather ominous message behind it. Don’t forget: 2:00 ET and 1:00 PST/CT on ABC. Be there!
