Soaps To Be Saved?

Tags:

A story in the New York Post this morning seems to be giving a sense of relief to ALL MY CHILDREN and ONE LIFE TO LIVE fans. According to the report, ABC has sold the online rights to the soaps to the TV, film and music company Prospect Park (run by a former Disney Studios exec). Both series will reportedly move with the cast and crew intact, and pick up where storylines left off on a new, TV-focused online network. AMC and OLTL are said to be the first of several TV shows to find a home on the site.

Could this be the answer to fans’ hopes and prayers and campaigning to save their beloved daytime dramas? Maybe, maybe not. Well-placed sources tells Soaps In Depth that the Post’s story is not entirely accurate, but there will be some “good news” coming down the pike soon. As soon as we find out more information, we’ll let you know!
