Spreading The Word

While playing quirky cop Venus Ardonowski on GENERAL HOSPITAL in the late 90s, Lisa Cerasoli strived to protect and serve. Now she’s making an even bigger difference! On the heels of As Nora Jo Fades Away, the humorous memoir she wrote about the bittersweet experience of living with her Alzheimer’s-afflicted grandmother, now she’s continuing to champion the cause. “My movie, 14 DAYS With Alzheimer’s, has its Los Angeles premiere in two weeks at the Women’s International Film Festival,” the first-time director tells Soaps In Depth of the short film based on her memoir. The compelling tale about “love, laughs, tears, beers, and the power of compassion” promises to resonate with viewers for a long time. “It screens with the Shorts Program at 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 25, at the West Hollywood Library,” Cerasoli reveals, adding that she’s proud of her documentary’s ongoing success in festivals. “It’s got its 13th Official Selection in eight months,” she reveals.
