Sumpter Joins Two Primetime Shows!

If you’ve been missing Tika Sumpter as Layla on ONE LIFE TO LIVE, then be sure tune in to GOSSIP GIRL when it returns to The CW later this month. “Ok, guys!!” the actress posted on Twitter. “January 24, 2011 — My debut on Gossip Girl!! The countdown begins!”

Sumpter joins the cast of the drama as newcomer Raina, the daughter of a powerful business tycoon who and former associate of Chuck’s father, who will soon be involved in some Bass family drama. But GOSSIP GIRL isn’t the only primetime show the recurring OLTL star has under her belt: Sumpter will also be appearing on BET’s THE GAME on Tuesday, January 11.
