The Clock Is Ticking For Ava!

Can you believe Ava Jerome has only been in Port Charles 16 months? That’s a mind-blowing fact, considering all the damage she’s done to so many. Now, with Sonny’s armed henchmen heading in her direction and Sabrina cursing the blonde baddie’s unborn baby, it looks as if karma is sneaking up on her fast!

Ava was already on edge when her guard warned her that they caught someone trying to sneak in. Thinking that Sonny was testing their security, she insisted on seeing the intruder. When they ushered in Morgan, a cautious smile crossed her face. Although his tone was nonconfrontive, the conversation quickly got serious. In the end, she assured him that she and Sonny never had “those feelings” and never would. But why all the questions? Was he wondering if there was still a chance for them?

Morgan gently told her that there was no going back. “But,” he added quietly, “there may be a way to go forward for me and the baby.” He didn’t want to get in Dad mode if he wasn’t the father so he asked her to consider a paternity test. The fact was, she would not consider it. It was an evasive procedure that she didn’t want to risk taking. For what it was worth, she wanted it be his and she wanted him to be a part of its life. “I hope that my mistake won’t make you stop loving this baby the way it made you stop loving me,” she said tearing up.

Meanwhile, Sabrina was lighting candles, praying to her dead infant son and remembering switching Ava’s meds for those that would cause premature labor. “I don’t want to sacrifice [Ava’s] baby,” she said, kneeling in the hospital chapel. “I don’t want it to feel pain or never know a mother’s love. I know that it’s innocent. But so was Gabriel. I’m sorry, my son, but I had to do this. You deserve retribution. And so does Ava.”

Franco was basking in the afterglow of a great morning with Carly that left him feeling loved and appreciated. He went on and on, telling Nina that he was never, ever going to doubt Carly again. Armed with knowledge that would have him thinking quite the contrary, Nina was bursting at the seams until she finally jumped out of her wheelchair. “I have something to tell you, and you’re not going to like it,” she squirmed.

Nina danced around the truth until she couldn’t not tell him. “The thing that Rosalie overheard was Kiki tell Morgan that the last thing they needed was for you to find out…” she hedged, “that… Carly and Sonny slept together.” Vowing to never be a victim of his paranoia again, Franco insisted that Rosalie misunderstood Kiki. Nina pointed out there was only one way to find out — ask Kiki for himself!

Monday on GENERAL HOSPITAL, Franco forces the truth out of Kiki, Lucy forces Scotty to make a choice, and Robin and Jason head to Port Charles! Don’t forget: 3:00 ET and 2:00 PST/CT on ABC. Be there!
