Ward Has A New Primetime Role!

From fashion magazine diva to attorney! GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Megan Ward (Kate) will guest-star on the upcoming episode of the CBS hit series CSI: NY titled “Vigilante.” When a serial rapist is found murdered in the same manner as his victims, Ward appears as Annie Cartland, a former public defender-turned-leader of a victim’s support group, whose client, Kate — played by Lindsay Price (ex-An Li, ALL MY CHILDREN) — may be facing a murder charge.

“I’ve done the [main] CSI set in Vegas twice now, then I did CSI: MIAMI and now I’ve done CSI: NY,” Ward tells Soaps In Depth. Although the actress won’t spoil the big plot twist — “I can’t give away the big reveal!” — she will share a thing or two about her character. “She’s a no-nonsense lawyer and not a grieving widow. She’s somebody who is in control of the situation and is reacting to it. That, as a character, interested me.”

As her character evolves through the course of the show, Ward was able to share some screen time with an actor she really respects. “I got to work with Gary Sinise, which was a really big thing for me in my career. To be able to work with someone like that — he’s lovely. As an actor, he’s very creative and it was very rewarding.”
