Ainsworth Is Done At GH

Ending weeks of speculation regarding her future at GENERAL HOSPITAL, Lexi Ainsworth tweeted on October 7 that she’d taped her final scenes as Kristina the day before. “It’s been one of the most rewarding experiences of my live and I wouldn’t trade one second of it even the not so great parts for all that I’ve learned to prepare me for the next phase of my career. I want to THANK each one of you from the bottom of my heart! Soap fans are the best and I’m so glad to have been part of its legacy.”

Although the GH door has closed on Ainsworth, another has opened: The Emmy nominee is about to start filming her first starring role in a movie, called This is Christmas. “Eric Roberts plays my dad & Vivica Fox plays my stepmom,” she said. “I’m going to be 5 weeks on location for this film. Which is another thing I’m so thankful for and wouldn’t have gotten to do this if things hadn’t worked out the way they did.”

Sources say that Ainsworth will make her last GH appearance in about a month.
