A familiar face will be arriving in Port Charles as Michael E. Knight joins the cast of GENERAL HOSPITAL! The actor is best known for playing Tad "The Cad" Martin on ALL MY CHILDREN on and off from 1982-2011, a role that earned him two Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Younger Leading Man in 1986 and 1987 and one for Outstanding Supporting Actor in 2001.
After AMC came to an end, Knight made primetime appearances in DROP DEAD DIVA and NCIS, then returned to daytime to play Dr. Simon Neville on CBS sudser THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, where he recurred in 2015 and 2016.
Although there are no details as to who Knight will be playing on GH, AMC fans will likely be hoping his character will share scenes with Valentin. Because not only is the Cassadine's portrayer, James Patrick Stuart, a former AMC castmate (he played Will Cortlandt back in the early '90s) but the two guys are also close friends.
