ALL MY CHILDREN’s Lindsay Hartley Previews Her New Movie, ‘Dying To Be Loved’

Tags:

Lindsay Hartley (Cara, ALL MY CHILDREN) stars as mother who will stop at nothing to protect her daughter in the new movie Dying to be Loved, premiering Saturday, April 16, at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime!

Hartley admits to Soaps In Depth that her character, Jill, is an overprotective mom by necessity. “[Her daughter] Emily is clinically depressed and has to stick to her medication,” she explains. “Jill can’t risk anything bad happening to Emily, but at the same time she has to be a mother that Emily can confide in and trust.”

But that proves difficult when Emily brings home an older boyfriend, Gary, her parents do not approve of. And their worst fears come true when the older man involves Emily in a road rage incident that leaves a man dead! After the lovers go on the run, Jill is horrified to learn that the pair have apparently jumped to their deaths in a double suicide!

Refusing to believe Emily is really dead, Jill is determined to find her daughter and bring her safely home — no matter what the cost!

“This movie deals with the quintessential emotions of family,” Hartley previews, “and what a mother would do for a daughter’s love.”
