Susan Lucci offers up a preview of DEVIOUS MAIDS’ juicy new season!

The actress, best known to daytime fans as ALL MY CHILDREN’s legendary Erica Kane, offered up some tidbits during an appearance at the AOL Build interview series. “We adored last season,” she declared. “But we think season four is even that much better!”

Lucci revealed that when the new season premieres on Monday, June 6, at 9 p.m. on Lifetime, viewers will the fallout from her character’s devastating choice. “The doctor said that Genevieve had to decide between Zoila’s life and the unborn baby’s life,” she said. “And we pick up season four with what that decision was and how that decision was made and the effect it has.”

This season also introduces a brand new mystery. “There’s always humor, there’s always humanity, and there’s always a mystery,” Lucci said of the series. “And this mystery this year, is so incredibly woven in and very topical.”

She also revealed that her wealthy alter ego is extremely lonely as the primetime soap returns. “She’s looking at an ex-husband,” Lucci previewed, “she’s looking at a new friend, and missing Zoila. We’ll see where it goes. There are some shocking surprises!”
