Budig Takes On SKATING WITH THE STARS!

Let’s hope that Rebecca Budig (Greenlee, ALL MY CHILDREN) still remembers her moves from the ice skating lessons she took as a child, because ABC has announced that the daytime star will be one of the six celebrity contestants on the inaugural season of SKATING WITH THE STARS! “Everyone’s really excited for me,” Budig tells Soaps In Depth of her family members. “I grew up skating.” A spokesperson for AMC reports that SKATING will not affect Budig’s screentime on the soap.

Among the other five contestants Budig will be competing against on the ice is another face familiar to daytime audiences: Sean Young (Meggie, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS). SKATING kicks off with a live premiere on Monday, November 22, after the network’s hit DANCING WITH THE STARS wraps.
