Consuelos Has Two New Gigs!

Tags:

Together with wife Kelly Ripa (Hayley, ALL MY CHILDREN), Mark Consuelos (Matéo) is the behind-the-scenes force as producer of the E! hit DIRTY SOAP. But next month, Consuelos will be returning to his acting roots with two new projects.

First up, Consuelos will be a part of the star-studded cast in the Off-Broadway production of Standing On Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays. A series of one-act vignettes, Standing On Ceremony addresses the fight for marriage equality and is coming to New York City after a successful premiere in Los Angeles. Previews begin on Monday, November 7, and the show officially opens on Sunday, November 13, at the Minetta Lane Theater. For more information, visit www.standingonceremony.net. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.

Next, the star returns to the small screen by joining the cast of FOX’s upcoming comedy I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER. Consuelos will recur as Carlos Castillo, a Spanish professor at the local community college who begins dating Annie, played by series star Jamie Pressly. A FOX rep tells Soaps In Depth that Consuelos is currently confirmed for two episodes, but air dates are not yet available. I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER premieres Wednesday, November 30, at 9:30 p.m. EST.
