Kassie DePaiva Reveals Her Final Air Date On DAYS OF OUR LIVES

Daytime vet Kassie DePaiva is leaving DAYS OF OUR LIVES in just a couple of weeks.

The actress took to Twitter to share with fans that her last air date on DAYS would be Tuesday, Feb. 2.

Enjoy these last few grains of sand in my ⌛️. My last air date on @nbcdays is 2/2. Time is running out. #DAYS

DePaiva began her daytime career as GUIDING LIGHT’s Chelsea in the ‘80s, but is best remembered as ONE LIFE TO LIVE’s Blair. She joined DAYS as Eve — a role previously played by Charlotte Ross — in July of 2014. However, there’s still the possibility DePaiva could return to Salem in the future.

“The door’s not shut,” she tells Soaps In Depth. “But you’ve got to go about your life. I have a husband and a life on the East Coast. But I’m not going to say no to anything. [Eve] has family there. She has her sister. Who knows?

“In my years of working in daytime, I’ve seen characters come and go, producers and writers come and go,” DePaiva continues. “Sometimes it’s a good thing. You think you’ll never love [new characters], but you do.”
