Daytime Emmys 2019: Creative Arts Awards Winners Announced

The 46th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards kicked off in grand style at the Creative Arts Emmy Award ceremony held on May 3 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, CA. Stars from THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, DAYS OF OUR LIVES, GENERAL HOSPITAL, and THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS all came out to support the hard-working crews behind their shows. “Tonight’s awards ceremony is an example of the extraordinary depth and breadth of Daytime television,” said Terry O’Reilly, Chairman, NATAS. “It is with great pleasure that we honor these talented nominees and a special honor to be recognizing Jacques Pepin’s culinary career with our Lifetime Achievement Award.”

CBS came away with 12 trophies at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, with Amazon, Netflix, and PBS also offering a strong showing with 10 wins each. For multiple wins by the soaps, Y&R led with five Emmy wins, followed by web soap AFTER FOREVER with four, DAYS with three, and B&B with two.
