Derk and Drew Cheetwood's Mother Is in the Hospital

Please join us in sending love and prayers to GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Derk Cheetwood (Max) and his brother, Drew Cheetwood (Milo), whose parents were involved in a serious car accident on July 10. The following day, Derk shared a photo of himself holding his mother’s hand in the hospital to share the story with fans. “Hello everyone, I hope that you’re all well,” he wrote. “I’m posting on behalf of our family. My parents were involved in a serious car accident yesterday. My dad is doing well, thankfully, however my mom sustained some very serious injuries. She is currently being treated in ICU in the Toledo Trauma Unit and receiving incredible care might we say.

“Our entire family has been with her almost every minute of her ordeal, from accident to ICU,” he added. “Although she has many serious injuries, we are praying for a complete recovery. I’m happy to report that she is currently resting well. God is great, and we thank him for allowing her to fight!”
