Exclusive: GH Star Shares His Engagement News!

“Disney World has always been one of my favorite places,” says GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Chad Duell (Michael). Well, now even more so!

The actor proposed to Taylor Novack back on August 26th, 2011, during a vacation to the Mouse House in Orlando, FL. And now, for the first time, Duell is publicly sharing the news of their happy day exclusively with Soaps In Depth. “I told Taylor that room service was delivering a very special breakfast and surprised her with the ring and a flower on a plate.”

Duell met Taylor after hearing about her repeatedly from his mom — the two were co-workers. “I was nervous at first,” he recalls of his initial meeting with Novack. “But I liked her right off the bat.” They hit it off immediately. “We clicked with our personalities — especially our goofy sides!” Just nine months later, Duell popped the question.

The happy couple are currently planning their big day, and plan on tying the knot before the end of this year.
