General Hospital's Chloe Lanier Reveals the Trailer for The Reveal

Not satisfied with just being an award-winning actress, GENERAL HOSPITAL‘s Chloe Lanier (Nelle) has stepped behind the camera to co-write and co-direct the short film, The Reveal! She and boyfriend Kevan Mclellan came up with the premise of a couple attending their hippie friends’ gender reveal party and with the help of an IndieGoGo fundraiser, were able to make the short film as a proof-of-concept in the hopes of getting financing to produce it as a feature.

“Kevan McLellan is a fantastic actor and writer,” Lanier declared on Instagram. “Earlier this year, out of frustration and an unrelenting urge to put my own creative stamp on a project, I begged him to write something with me. Thus, we wrote The Reveal. I’ve never been more proud of anything in my life. Our entire cast and crew were phenomenal and made this three-day shoot absolutely unforgettable. We’re filled with gratitude for everyone who showed up, made us laugh, and helped us create a little slice of cinema.”

Swickard and his real-life wife play the hosts of the party!

GH fans will definitely recognize some very familiar faces in The Reveal, as Lanier enlisted her talented friends to join her in making the movie. Josh Swickard (Chase) and his real-life wife Lauren portray the couple holding the gender reveal party, and Brytni Sarpy (ex-Valerie; Elena, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS) is one of the guests.

Although Lanier hasn’t yet announced any official screenings or release for The Reveal, she did offer up an amazing trailer where you can get a taste of the wild goings-on! Check it out!
