That's Kelsey Wang playing the mysterious Daisy on GENERAL HOSPITAL. The actress made her debut in September of 2018 when Daisy was seen passing out fliers for an upcoming concert in Charlie’s Pub, and Kristina seemed quite interested. “Finally able to tell this little secret!” Wang shared on Instagram when the news broke. “Thank you, GH, for the opportunity to tell Daisy’s story and Parry Shen for showing me the ropes my first day! Let’s see who Daisy becomes friends with in Port Charles!”
When Shen first tweeted out the photo of Wang, GH fans immediately started speculating about who Daisy could be with many hoping she would be part of Brad’s family. Due to the actress’ Asian heritage, many agreed she wasn’t likely to be playing Nina’s long-lost daughter or Brad and Lucas’ adopted son’s birth mother. And since one of Daisy's first interactions on screen was with Kristina Davis, some suspected she was being positioned as a new love interest for Sonny and Alexis' daughter.
After her first appearance, it was almost a month before Daisy showed up again, this time to invite Kristina to a bonfire. But in addition to that, she also offered Oscar Nero a place to stay since he was trying to emancipate himself from his parents. Later, she returned to Charlie's Pub to invite Kristia to hang out with her and her friends and then used some special healing technique to get rid of Oscar's headache. When Kristina was curious about how she did that, Daisy offered her a copy of a book called Every Day Is a New Dawn, which she promised would change her life.
But after luring Kristina into the Dawn of Day group, it was later revealed that the young woman was also volunteering at Turning Woods nursing home where Mike was living, and was somehow connected to the threatening E-mails Sam had been receiving about her con-artist past. When Dawn of Day leader, Shiloh, was confronted by Jason and Sam about his involvement, Daisy confessed that it was all her scheme. Shiloh demoted her within the group's hierarchy, but Daisy's story may not quite be done yet!
Born in Beijing, Wang lived in Singapore and moved to the US when she was seven, growing up in Dallas, TX. Her first IMDb credit is listed as the role of “vendor” in a 2011 episode of CBS sudser THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS. She has also appeared on television in DAREDEVIL and JOURNEY TO THE EAST as well as the films The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and Battle B-Boy.
