Dr. Cabot is back on GENERAL HOSPITAL and that can't be good news for anyone in Port Charles! Actor Time Winters first debuted as Doctor Arthur Cabot back in February of 2019 but after a couple of weeks, was sent to prison for his crimes. However, by August of that year, he was once again a free man and ready to cause more trouble! Winters might look familiar to some GH fans as the character actor has appeared in countless films and television series during his career including Gremlins 2, MACGYVER, Thinner, CARNIVALE, and SHAMELESS.
Anna Devane, Robert Scorpio, and Hamilton Finn all journeyed to Sweden to track down Dr. Cabot and found him a patient in the hospital having gone blind after exposure to the HN-242 virus. Finn assured the doc he could restore his sight if he agreed to help him with information. When Cabot was reluctant, Anna threatened him, and he recognized her voice — though he thought she was her twin sister, Alex! Anna attempted to impersonate her sibling to get the info, but Cabot saw through it. Still, he agreed to their terms and was transferred to Port Charles.
Finn restored Cabot's vision and the scientist revealed that Alex and Anna were part of his study on identical twins and how to transfer memories from one person to another. The HN-242 virus was part of his experiments. Anna was horrified to learn that she could have some of Alex's memories in her head, and that Andre Maddox had perfected the memory swapping technique that was used with Drew Cain and Jason Morgan. They also realized that Kevin Collins and Ryan Chamberlain were also part of the study. Afterwards, Cabot planned to leave town but was instead taken to Steinmauer for his crimes.
But less than six months later, Dr. Cabot was released from prison and given the Anamnesis Project flash drive containing Drew's memories by Shiloh, who hoped to use the doctor's technique to implant Drew's memories into someone else!
