Is GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Duke Alive? Ian Buchanan Teases His Return!

Olivia finally revealed her master plan on GENERAL HOSPITAL, which was to bring Duke Lavery back from the dead! Has she actually achieved her impossible dream? You will not want to miss the next episode!

Duke had been killed off once before, back in 1990, but returned from the grave in 2012 with the revelation that the man who had died was an imposter. However, Duke’s more recent demise in 2015 at the hands of Carlos Rivera would seem to have been more permanent. But in soaps, things are not always as they seem! The beloved character’s portrayer, Ian Buchanan, had a special message to share with GH fans, warning them not to miss today’s episode because, “You never know who’s gonna show up!”

Longtime GH fans were devastated by Duke’s death, and have been hoping the writers would find a way to bring him back somehow. Have they been granted their wish? Or is this only a brief ghostly appearance like the ones Buchanan made after his character’s passing? You’ll just have to stay tuned and find out!
