Congratulations to Eden McCoy, who has filmed 100 episodes of GENERAL HOSPITAL playing Josslyn Jacks! The young actress shared the big news Feb. 7 on Instagram with a backstage pic of her and castmate Haley Pullos (Molly) on the hospital set. “Today I shot my 100th episode with the most amazing humans and talented actors I could ever hope to work with. GH, thank you for making my dreams come true!”
Before making her daytime debut, McCoy had appeared in commercials and Nickelodeon comedies THE THUNDERMANS and GAME SHAKERS. She joined the cast of GH in October of 2015 when Carly’s young daughter was aged into a teen and the role was recast, quickly making the character her own. Fans have loved the heartfelt mother/daughter talks that Joss and Carly have had, and they’re smitten with the young love story between Josslyn and Oscar Nero.
McCoy also shared a ridiculously funny Snapchat video that she took on her Twitter page to celebrate her 100th episode, and it features a guest appearance from castmate William deVry (Julian)! The heart eyes might not be appropriate, but McCoy is right — the shades are very Julian!
Her GH castmates congratulated her on social media, with Nicolas Bechtel (Spencer) declaring: “That is great.” Risa Dorken (Amy) tweeted, “Congrats, beautiful! Love watching you work, and have so much fun with you. Here’s to 100 more!” And Steve Burton (Jason) expressed his love for the talented young star on the rise. “Now that I’m still up and on Titter,” he posted, “I will say that Eden McCoy as Laura Wright’s (Carly) daughter is one of the best ever. Kudos to the man who is a casting genius, Mark Teschner.”
Congratulations to McCoy on reaching this milestone, and we look forward to 100 more episodes of daytime drama for Josslyn — at least! For more on your favorite GH stars, keep reading the ABC edition of Soaps In Depth magazine!
