Emme Rylan’s Reaction to Her Daughter Crawling for the First Time Is the Cutest Thing You’ll See Today

Tags:

Congratulations to Emme Rylan’s baby girl, Dakota, who is crawling for the first time ever. Although mommy nearly spoiled the moment while trying to capture it on video! Best known to soap fans currently as Lulu Spencer on GENERAL HOSPITAL, Rylan made a name for herself as Abby on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS and Lizzie on GUIDING LIGHT before that. And while she’s played mom on the soap, nothing can compare to the reality of raising three kids!

Rylan is patiently recording away as her eight-year-old son, Jackson, taps markers on the floor in the hopes of getting little Dakota to crawl towards them. But as mommy points out, “It wasn’t far enough away, Jackson, nice try!” Determined to help, Jackson pulls the nearby pen away and taps two of them closer to himself, at which point a curious Dakota leans forward and begins to crawl on her hands and knees for the very first time!

The moment is very nearly ruined when Rylan screams enthusiastically at the milestone moment, and Jackson chides his mom for distracting Dakota. When the toddler scoots herself forward just a bit more and grabs for one of the pens, Rylan proudly announces: “I think that’s crawling!” As his six-year-old brother Levi and their father, Don Money, look on, Jackson congratulates his baby sister and pulls her up into a loving hug.

Rylan and Money welcomed Dakota into their family on June 26, 2017, and we can’t wait to see what kind of amazing first birthday party they have planned for their little girl. It’s going to be epic!
