When Stalked by My Patient makes its premiere on Lifetime Movies on Friday, Dec. 14, at 8 p.m. ET, it’s going to be a first for GENERAL HOSPITAL star Laura Wright (Carly). And not just because this time she’s playing one of the doctors! “Okay, guys!” she gushed on Instagram. “This is my first Lifetime movie! I’m terrified to see this… truly. So different from what I do every day on GH! I had a blast working with Bree Williamson (ex-Claudette), Eddie Matos (ex-Peter), and [director] Rob Roberts! So, so grateful for the experience and I can’t wait to do more!”
In the movie, Williamson stars as Dr. Hillary Spenser, known as “the Angel of the East Wing” for the way she treats her patients. However, one of her patients, Gregory (played by Matos), mistakes her compassion and becomes obsessed with her, willing to do whatever it takes to make his vision of their future together come to pass! “Yes, I’m the stalker,” Matos joked on his own Insta. “Are we too late for award season?” Wright hasn’t let on exactly how her character of Dr. Hanson gets mixed up in the deadly stalking!
Soap fans are not going to miss this one, because Stalked by My Patient has more than its fair share of familiar daytime faces. In addition to Williamson, Matos, and Wright, Judi Evans (Adrienne, DAYS OF OUR LIVES) plays Nurse Williams, Mark Hapka (ex-Nate, DAYS) is Newton, and Brody Hutzler (ex-Cody, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS; ex-Patrick, DAYS) is playing John.
