Lynn Herring Admits She Would “Come Running” Back to GENERAL HOSPITAL

Will GENERAL HOSPITAL fans see Lucy again? Portrayer Lynn Herring sets the record straight!

With Jon Lindstrom making the occasional appearance as Kevin, fans have been wondering about the whereabouts of his ex.

“Thank you all for thinking of me,” Herring said in a post to her Facebook fan page. “And Lucy, of course. It means so much!

“I do miss playing Lucy,” she continues, “but I am not interested in a line here or there or a day once in a while. All the years of happiness and satisfaction I had playing Lucy are too important to me, and I would never want to belittle all the great memories I have of her adventures.”

However, while Herring admits that she’s perfectly content living on her ranch in California and curating the Raymond Museum, she’s not opposed to returning to GH if the circumstances are right.

“If Frank [Valentini, GH‘s executive producer] and the writers need Lucy for a story or a firm connection in the show,” she says, “then I will jump right out of my saddle and come running for sure.”

Herring returned to GH in 2012, and her alter ego was instrumental in resurrecting the popular Nurses Ball, which Lucy hosted for the next three years. “Not sure if GH is doing the Nurses Ball again this year,” the actress admits, “and if they are, if Lucy is even included. You will be the first to know when I find out!

“Thank you for all your interest, support and fun comments!” Herring concludes. “Got to head back outside. The river washed out many of our fences and the cows are taking advantage!”
