GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Nicolas Bechtel Previews His New Disney Channel Series STUCK IN THE MIDDLE

Nicolas Bechtel (Spencer, GENERAL HOSPITAL) is starring in a new Disney Channel series!

The comedy, STUCK IN THE MIDDLE, centers around the Diaz family, focusing on middle daughter Harley. Bechtel plays Lewie Diaz, who is actually a twin! “I’m the twin of Beast,” the young star tells Soaps In Depth. “I’m the master planner, and he’s the one who will go along with it!”

Bechtel has had to make a lot of adjustments working on the sitcom versus a soap opera. “You get two to three takes, at the most, on GH,” he confides. “Here you take 26 shots of the same angle! I miss GH terribly. It’s a lot to get used to.”

STUCK IN THE MIDDLE officially premieres on Friday, March 11, but Disney Channel is airing a special preview of the series on Sunday, March 14, at 8:45 pm ET, which happens to be one day before Bechtel turns 11!

“I was so excited because it’s the day before my birthday,” he says of his new show’s debut. “We’ve been working incredibly hard to get these episodes ready and get it going. It’s like an early present!”
