Parry Shen Celebrates His Anniversary on GENERAL HOSPITAL!

A very happy anniversary to Parry Shen, who just celebrated his fourth anniversary as Brad Cooper on GENERAL HOSPITAL!

“Four years ago and 125 plus episodes later,” the actor tweeted along with a photo of himself at the GH stage and the original casting description of Brad as “a lab tech that doesn’t play by the rules and has his own agenda.”

Brad made his debut in 2013 as a lab technician who helped best friend Britt fake test results that said she had a disease so she could live with Patrick who was supposedly the father of the baby she was carrying. Brad had a rush on Felix, who was not interested in the shady character but used his feelings to find out the truth about his and Britt’s scheme.

Brad and Felix did eventually have a real relationship, but a one-night stand with Lucas complicated things tremendously. Although he was torn between the two men for a while, Brad ultimately settled down with Lucas. Although their plan to get married hit a snag when Brad confessed he was already married to Rosalie so he wouldn’t have to testify against her in court. Thankfully they found a way to divorce safely and Brad and Lucas finally tied the knot!

Shen got his big break as Ben Manibag in the film Better Luck Tomorrow and has appeared in numerous primetime series, including VERONICA MARS, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, and BEVERLY HILLS 90210. But daytime fans know and love him best as Brad, and eagerly await his next appearance on the soap!
