Ava didn't have much luck with Sibley Gamble but there's a new psychic on GENERAL HOSPITAL who might just have better skills! Chelsea Lambas made her debut in the July 26 episode, and she could have some important information for the residents of Port Charles. "What does Chelsea see in Franco's future?" mused ABC exec Nathan Varni when he teased the character's introduction on Twitter.
Chelsea was first seen in the hospital corridor when she ran into Franco and passed along a message from Kiki congratulating him on finding happiness. When he asked about the other psychic's cryptic message that he soon may not feel himself, Chelsea couldn't elaborate, but had a flash where she heard a car racing and urged him not to take that drive. She then met with Ava Jerome at The Metro Court and let her know that Kiki is angry with her and wants her mother to leave her alone. Later, in the park, Ava begged Chelsea to try and contact her daughter's spirit. Instead, the psychic reached other dead people like Connie Falconeri and AJ Quartermaine who have a beef with Ava. Chelsea finally found her, but Kiki couldn't forgive Ava because she had been in love with the man who killed her.
When Franco ran into Chelsea again, he asked her to elaborate on her previous message, and she told him to forget what she said and take the drive. Then she got a call from Laura, looking to offer her a job.
Jen Ray is playing the psychic, and being in Port Charles is a dream come true for the actress! "I have watched GH with my mom since I was a teenager!" Ray enthused on Instagram. "I cannot thank everyone in Port Charles for helping a little girl dreaming of being on her 'story' actually come true! And a special thank you to Nathan Varni, [executive producer] Frank Valentini, and [casting director] Mark Teschner! Aw… so fun!"
Ray will look very familiar to fans of THE MIDDLE, as she played neighbor Nancy Donahue for the entire run of the ABC sitcom. Or you might recognize her from one of her other primetime TV guest appearances on series like GILMORE GIRLS, BIG LOVE, TRUE BLOOD, or THE NEW NORMAL. GH is Ray's daytime debut.
